The Argo softball squad has been hard at work for well over two months. They began conference in Arizona, opening with two double headers against Grand Canyon University. The Argos dropped all four, but came back to Belmont eager to prepare for their journey to continue conference competition in Hawaii.

The Argos got off to a great start against Chaminade University, taking two of the three games against the Swords. The rest of the trip was tough as the Argos dropped four games each to University of Hawaii Hilo and Hawaii Pacific University.

Tara Van Meter and Amy Paulson rallied the NDNU offense. Together they tallied 21 hits, 12 RBI's, and four home runs. Paulson was fierce with seven hits, six RBI's, and two home runs. Van Meter hit .484 with two home runs and four RBI's.

The Argos returned to face Sonoma State where they dropped 2 games in their double header. Milana Jordan, Van Meter, and Lindsay Crist were able to come up with a few hits for the Argos, but it wasn't enough to overcome the offense of Sonoma. However, the Argos were hungry for a couple of wins.

The Argos got redemption with two wins over Cal State East Bay on St. Patrick's Day.

The women continue conference play on March 26t and 27 at home against BYU Hawaii.
