Do you like crocheting or knitting or perhaps you'd like to learn? Check out the knitting circle.
The knitting circle was started by Mary Ann Burman, who says that the knitting circle is a good stress-reliever and a good time to bond with those who share common interests. It is also a good place to meet new people.
The knitting circle is for new and experienced knitters.
Burman said, "The circle is a good chance to meet new people and bond and relax."
In the circle, needleworkers are free to work on whatever piece they choose.
Once the pieces are done, the projects are donated to charities, such as homeless organizations. Currently, the circle is donating to Hurricane Katrina victims.
The circle meets every Tuesday in the Cafe at 4-5:30 p.m.
