A new club on campus is called the NDNU Students for Life.
Started by Suzanne Sangervasi, the student-president, the club's purpose is to educate and inform people to take a stand against abortion.
The club, which has eight to 15 members, meets to discuss information about current laws regarding abortion, doctors and rallies.
"The club isn't about forcing people to become pro-life, rather about informing people about pro-life and creating a voice for those who are pro-life," said Sangervasi.
The club is also associated with CASTL, which is the California Students for Life. It consists of Bay Area college clubs run by students to spread the pro-life message through meetings and speakers.
The club is currently meeting at St. Mary's 202, on Tuesday evenings from 5-6 p.m.
